Trex 700N Electric Conversion Deluxe

Typical 700N conversions use the nitro frames and replace the nitro motor with an electric motor mount. Problem is these conversions place the motor down into the frames leaving little room for batteries. This method forces you to cut the canopy and place the batteries outside the frames. No protection for the batteries and it looks like a nitro that has been forced into an electric.

Our conversion kit features:

• The motor is flipped to the top and clears the way for batteries below
• Does away with the molded plastic front assembly which in the nitro version houses the throttle servo and tail rotor servo. Obviously a throttle servo is not required and the tail servo can be mounted to the boom. Removing this plastic assembly reduces a considerable amount of weight
• Includes an aluminum motor mount that slides in slots in the frame for very easy gear mesh adjustment. The slots are long enough for a variety of gear ratio combinations
  
• Battery plate has slots milled for velcro straps
• .75" reduction in height from the stock nitro version
• Our frames have mounting points designed in for our front camera mount. Go from an underslung VR360 mount to a 2XPT front mount in about 5 minutes time. (2XPT front mount for this kit coming August 2009)
  

All in all this solution makes a Trex 700 Nitro look and perform like it was designed as an electric from the ground up rather than an afterthought.
