VR360 Heli Adapter

The VR360 Adapter allows you to install the VR360 onto your helicopter.  The VR360 Adapter is a vibration isolated attachment method by which the helicopter is bolted to the VR360 via the adapter with Lord vibration isolators which are integrated on the adapter.

The VR360 Adapter is a more streamlined and less bulky solution than the typical heli landing skid/bungee cord method. It eliminates several of the troubled tendencies of the bungee cord method ( pendulum effect, instability, excess weight, etc.) The bungee cord method has been the standard method for many years for attaching a camera mount to helicopter due to it's excellent ability to conceal helicopter vibrations and keep them from reaching the camera however as noted above there are negatives that come with the positive.

The VR360 Adapter's Lord vibration isolators to a good job of isolating vibration from the helicopter's main/tail rotor system as well as motor transmission and do not exhibit the issues that the bungee cord method can exhibit.

It is still VERY important that your helicopter be as vibration free as possible for the VR360 Adapter to function properly!  The VR360 Adapter, while integrating Lord vibration isolators, is not as trouble free in terms of vibration as the heli skid bungee method.

The VR360 Adapter also allows for fore/aft adjustment of the VR360 to precisely compensate for C.G.  The VR360 can be located forward or rearward of the main shaft of the helicopter by about 30mm.
