Our 2X 2axis gimbal is for the "Homebrew" Helicopter, Mast, or Robot fanatic. We've done the hard work of engineering the pan/tilt mechanism. We've designed the 2X to accomodate cameras as large most mid-size DSLR's. For helicopter and robot use you need only determine a method to mount the gimbal with a 1/4" hardened bolt. Included with the 2X is a pan gear (not shown in pics).

For use on a mast you simply invert the gimbal and attach it to the top section of your mast with our Mast Adapter (sold separately).

Both axis are servo driven via a 5:1 gear reduction. This allows for smooth camera movement and excellent torque. Cameras up to 5.0lb are supported. Continuous 360° of travel is possible on both axis.

The servos are Hitec 1425CR or for high torque our PS1360-MG can be substituted . The Hitec 1425CR is best for standard operation.
