Samyang 8mm f/3.5 Aspherical IF MC - Fisheye

Samyang 8mm fisheye

The best entry point fisheye lens on the market.
It is a fully manual lens. The real focal length is closer to 9mm, but the various
rebrandings declare it a 6.5mm, 7mm or 8mm.

Number of pictures required for a 360° panorama:

  • Minimum (full-frame): 3 images every 120° at 0° pitch
  • Minimum (1.5x, 1.6x): 4 images every 90° at -15° pitch and a zenith image at +90° pitch (or +60°, for better overlap when generating control points)
  • Recommended: (1.5x, 1.6x): 5 or 6 images, every 72° or 60° at -15° pitch, with double zenith shots at +60° pitch (opposed)

Samyang 14mm f/2.8 ED AS IF UMC - Rectilinear

Samyang 14mmThe Samyang 14mm is a fully manual lens. The sharpest aperture is f/5.6.
