We gathered up our Phoenix brushless gimbal prototype, called our favorite copter pilot, David Kitts and beat air into submission to see just how does the Pheonix gimbal work in a real world aerial environment. We learned alot during today’s flight test and gathered some valuable data. We’re headed back to the lab to further fine tune the system. More flight tests are in order but take a moment to see just how amazingly insane the Phoenix gimbal is stabilizing the footage from a Robinson R44 helicopter flown on a hot convectively (is that a word?) turbulent summer day over Phoenix, AZ.
